Chester

Chester is a small borough in New Jersey with a population of only 1,649 as of the 2010 United States Census. This little borough is located in Morris County with an area of 1.5 square miles. Located to the west of Chester is Long Valley with Mendham to the east. Peapack and Gladstone lies to the southeast along with Far Hills. Succasunna-Kenvil as well as Succasunna and Kenvil lie to the northeast. Budd Lake is to the northwest while the largest city, Union, is on the southeast side of the borough. Chester is only about 19 miles from Newark and 38 miles from Manhattan
