Florham Park is situated in the east-central part of Morris County, which is located in northern New Jersey. This borough is the location of the New York Jets' main headquarters. It encompasses an area of 7.5 square miles and the 2010 U.S Census showed it had a population of 11,696. Florham Park was the last of several names for this borough, including Broomtown because rooms were manufactured here. A wealthy couple came and settled in the area in a beautiful mansion, naming it Florham. A second family bought a property, naming it Brooklake Park. The current name of the town comes from the two estates.
Florham Park has an elementary school through eighth grade. High school students go to Hanover Park High School in East Hanover. Portions of two colleges are located in the borough.
