Montclair

Montclair is located in Essex County in northern New Jersey. It encompasses an area of just under 6 ½ miles and has a population of 37,669 according to the 2010 United States Census Bureau. The nearest large city is East Orange, located four miles south of Montclair. Newark is just six miles away with Manhattan 13 miles to the southeast. Nearby boroughs include Glen Ridge, Brookdale to the northeast, Verona and Cedar Grove to the northwest, West Orange to the southwest and Bloomfield to the southeast.
