Woodland Park is a township located in the southern half of Passaic County, New Jersey. It was once known as West Paterson. This borough has a population of 11,819, according to the 2010 United States Census. It is a growing community with an increase of over 7% since the 2000 Census. The name change came about in 2008 and is a reference to the many wooded areas. It spans an area of just over three square miles.
